Goodbye Provo-Things We Will Miss

Provo, UT has been referred to as "The Bubble" since the beginning of time, but we really like the bubble and it will be sad to leave after four great college years here. Here's what we will miss the most:

-Walking outside on Sunday and seeing home and visiting teaching companions walking to their appointments
-So many friends within a 5-7 minute walk from your apartment
-Yogurtland, Earth Fruits Yogurt, Yoasis, Yozone, Spoon It Up, Spoon Me, Golden Spoon...
-Attending church at the chapel next to the BYU football stadium
-Walking on BYU's beautiful campus
-Your entire ward on one street
-Renting Tandem Bikes and biking past the Provo River
-Tucanos Brazilian Grill
-Wilson Diamonds Store
-The Movies 8 Dollar Theatre
-BYU merchandise in every and any store
-The BYU/Utah rivalry games
-The tune of 'Come Come Ye Saints' played every hour at the Bell Tower
-Sitting in Denny's and hearing the conversations behind you:
"I just prayed about it and I felt it was right,"
"The scriptures tell us..."
"My friend, he's just so...Christlike!"
-Working at Campus Craft & Floral
-The Creamery on 9th
-The CougarEat
-Snow
-The Police Beat in the Daily Universe newspaper (always good for a laugh)
-The Y on the mountain
-7 temples within an hour drive
-Having a picnic outside and before you know it, having 3 other couples from the ward walk by and stop to talk.
-Pink Trees in the Springtime
-Iceberg
-Driving by the dorms and remembering
-BYU Divine Comedy Shows
-Brick Oven Pizza
-Memories

When my family first dropped me off at college in Provo, my sister Amy said, "Jill, you're going to miss this someday. I've only been graduated for a few years and I miss it everyday." When she said that, I thought, "I can't really see that." Four years later, I definitely can. Although we are excited about Texas, we'll miss "The Bubble." Bye Provo, thanks for all the wonderful times.

I wrote a post like this and I was so sad while writing it. It makes you reminisce about everything you love. It's hard to let go.
I'm so glad we got to know you both. Good luck in Texas and keep in touch!
