"Welcome to Baby Land"....(as Franc would say from Father of the Bride 2). If you haven't seen that movie, stop what you're doing and go watch it. My favorite part of that movie (besides the classic aerobic class scene) is when a family's french nursery-decorator, Franc, welcomes the family into the room that he made especially for their baby-to-be.
Watching the movie growing up, I decided my child's room would look just like theirs. Now, I realize that the room he showed them with all the expensive decorations is probably not the most realistic (unless I wanted to spend 15,000 dollars or something close to it, that is). But, even though we're on a budget, I wanted to find a nursery theme I loved. And tonight, I found my "baby land" inspiration. DISNEY of course; and more specifically... Classic Winnie the Pooh: (Note: The following pictures are from online-I wish it was a picture of a room inside my house, but it's not. Not YET anyway).
We started our Baby Registries tonight at Babies R Us and Amazon, but so far, that's all we've accomplished. My nursery might not end up looking as fabulous as Franc's did, but at least it will be something DISNEY.

Everything looks so cute! How exciting to start buying all that cute stuff.
I LOVE Father of the Bride I & II. I watched those movies a ton growing up and Franc is THE BEST in those movies. The baby room reveal is for sure one of the best parts of the movie.
This sounds ridiculous, but another one of the best things about Father of the Bride part II is the fact that Annie got her brows plucked between the first and second movie. Homegirl needed some help with those eyebrows. Hahaha. (I'm an eyebrow girl--I notice when people have bad brows. But DON'T worry--yours are great!)
